Guide for Authors

Complete Submission Policies, Guidelines, and Requirements for APJSE

I. Journal Policy & Scope

The Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Engineering (APJSE) considers all original manuscripts in the fields of natural and applied sciences, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, and engineering.

Originality Condition: Manuscripts are accepted on the condition that they have been submitted only to APJSE and have not been published, nor are under consideration for publication in other journals. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will not have their papers published.

All papers will be peer-reviewed at the discretion of the members of the editorial board.

II. Prescribed Templates

Manuscripts must be typewritten following the prescribed templates. Any manuscript that does not conform to these instructions will be returned for revision before the review process begins.

III. Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: Papers are accepted only in English.
  • Non-Discriminatory Language: Mandatory. Sexist or racist terms must not be used.
  • Structural Order: Title; Abstract; Index Terms; Main Text; Acknowledgments; References.
  • Abstracts: Required for all papers. They must clearly and comprehensively state the main arguments made in the paper.
  • Index Terms: Each paper should have at least 3-5 keywords.
  • Conclusions: Must clearly state answers to the hypothesis and include implications for R&D issues.
  • Proprietary Terms: When using a trademark, authors must use the symbol ® or ™.

Tables and Figures

  • Placement: Should be presented after being introduced in the text. Their approximate position should be indicated.
  • Numbering: Use Arabic numerals (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).
  • Tables: Must be part of the text. Captions/Notes should appear directly above the table in parentheses (Table 1). Keep references short.
  • Figures: Supply clear copies of artwork (preferably originals) suitable for reproduction.

References

  • Sources: Journal articles are preferred; books and proceedings are acceptable.
  • Formatting: Journal titles should not be abbreviated in the reference section.
  • Links: Provide URLs for references (DOIs) where available.

IV. The Submission Package

All authors of a paper must include their full names, affiliations, postal addresses, telephone/fax numbers, and email addresses. These details should be provided on a Cover Letter.

V. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items:

Final Verification List
✓ The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal.
✓ The submission file is in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format (PDF only accepted with source file).
✓ A Cover Letter with full contact details for all authors is included.
✓ The text adheres to all stylistic and bibliographic requirements.
✓ For SPVM Conference Authors: You have noted to select "SPVM 27th National Physics Conference" from the Section menu.
