In this paper, we revisit the concept of theta-preopen set defined by Noiri [17], and then investigate the connection of this set to the other well-known concepts in topology such as the classical open, theta-open, and preopen sets. We also investigate the concept of theta-precontinuous and strongly theta-precontinuous functions from an arbitrary topological space into the product space.
