Call for Proposals: Special Issues

We welcome interdisciplinary and regionally grounded contributions that offer new theoretical insights, empirical findings, or practice-based perspectives, particularly those that engage with Global South contexts and emerging societal challenges.

Proposed special issues should demonstrate clear thematic coherence, relevance to the journal’s scope, and potential to contribute to ongoing academic and policy conversations. We encourage proposals that bring together diverse voices, including early-career researchers and practitioners, and that reflect collaborative or cross-institutional efforts.

Interested proponents are requested to submit a one-page concept note that includes:
• A brief overview and rationale of the proposed special issue
• An indicative abstract outlining its significance and contribution
• A list of possible topics or themes to be included
• (Optional) Potential contributors or target authors

All proposals will be reviewed by the Editorial Board. Selected proponents will be invited to serve as guest editors and will work closely with the journal throughout the publication process.
