Abstract

Sodium iodide activated with Thalliun /Nal(TI)] and the pure Cesium iodide [Csl] crystals are the two types of inorganic crystal scintillators that are mounted to separate photomultiplier tubes (PMT) to forn scintillator detector. The operating voltage of these detectors were determined to have minimnal influence on the measured counts due to drifis in the photomultiplier gain or voltage supply.
